04 — how it works
FormatTap-through microlearning — ~2 hr · online. Built for phones, works everywhere. Start on smoko, pause, pick it up on the train.
PracticeScenario cards drop you into real situations along the way — you make the call a worker actually faces, then get the reasoning, straight up.
ChecksQuick knowledge checks in every module. Not exam-style — the course makes sure it sticks before it moves on.
You leave withA certificate of completion from an RTO-crafted course, issued instantly and logged in the Nexa Compliance Hub — with renewal reminders for you or your whole team.
No. This is an awareness course — practical, RTO-authored online training that issues a certificate of completion. It is not a nationally recognised unit of competency.
~2 hr · online. Delivery: online, self-paced. Start, pause, and finish whenever suits.
No. Asbestos removal requires a Class A or Class B licence from your state WHS regulator. This course covers awareness — identifying ACMs, working safely around them, and knowing when to stop work.
The course meets WHS asbestos awareness requirements for QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS, NT and WA. The ACT has separate requirements it doesn't cover.
Under WHS regulations, anyone whose work could disturb asbestos-containing materials — and PCBUs must ensure workers complete it before starting that work. If your team touches buildings built before 1990, it's a legal requirement, not a nice-to-have.
There's no mandated renewal period, but Safe Work Australia and most employers recommend refresher training every 2 years or when regulations change.
