03 — the practical stuff
You'll needA computer, tablet or smartphone with webcam and internet (headphones recommended), your three matching original ID documents, and your own or borrowed PPE — hard hat, safety glasses or goggles, hi-vis, ear plugs or muffs.
Physical demandsLight. The practical is a PPE fitting demonstration and oral questions — no heavy activity, floor work or manual handling. Need an adjustment? Email admin@nexa.edu.au.
We provideAll training materials plus a copy of the Queensland Work Health and Safety Act 2011 on the learning platform.

Yes. White Card (CPCWHS1001) is nationally recognised training delivered by Nexa Training, RTO 46538. You receive a Statement of Attainment valid across Australia.

No expiry (2-yr industry currency rule). Nexa’s Compliance Hub tracks currency and sends a reminder before it lapses.

Yes. CPCWHS1001 is nationally recognised — a White Card issued in Queensland is valid on construction sites in every Australian state and territory.
Because WHSQ doesn't permit it. Queensland requires general construction induction training to be delivered by a live trainer — our virtual classroom meets that requirement, so you can join from anywhere in QLD.
Same day, on successful completion. Your Statement of Attainment with your White Card number is issued as soon as you're assessed competent — use it for site inductions straight away. The physical card is mailed the next business day.
It's open-book, and your trainer covers everything before you're assessed. The written quiz, oral questions and PPE demonstration check you understood the day — they're not designed to trip you up.
There's no printed expiry, but if you're out of the construction industry for a continuous period of 2 or more years, your card is no longer current and you'll need to redo the course.
Yes, an old QLD Blue Card remains valid unless you've been out of the industry for 2+ continuous years, or you've lost the card and can't replace it. In either case you'll need to complete CPCWHS1001.
Yes. Eligible student visa holders can complete White Card training under the ESOS (Exempt Courses) Instrument 2021. You must be physically in Queensland, with the same ID and USI requirements.

No. WHSQ rules prohibit RPL for CPCWHS1001 — everyone completes the full course and assessment.
