Physical demandsLight — no floor CPR in this one. You'll need hand grip strength to activate auto-injector trainers and hold for 3 seconds, demonstrate a pMDI and spacer, and take part in role-play scenarios. Adjustments: admin@nexa.edu.au.
We supplyEpiPen and Jext trainer devices, a neffy nasal spray demonstrator, placebo pMDI inhalers, adult and infant spacers with masks, sample ASCIA Action Plans and Personal Asthma Action Plans, an infant manikin and incident documentation.

Asthma practicalFour scenarios of increasing complexity: a child at school, an adult severe emergency with paramedic handover, an infant outdoors with spacer and mask, and an adult with complicating factors. Then post-incident documentation and a facilitated risk management discussion using your own workplace.
Anaphylaxis practicalTwo scenarios: a food-triggered reaction using an ASCIA Action Plan and EpiPen, and an insect or tick-triggered reaction with safe tick removal and a second adrenaline device — Jext auto-injector or neffy nasal spray. Then a post-incident review and risk management documentation.

Yes. MO706 requires current asthma and anaphylaxis training for school staff with direct student contact — 22702VIC and 22578VIC meet that requirement. Some interstate schools and services also accept them; check with your employer.
No — they're delivered as one combined enrolment with a single workshop. Most workplaces that require one also require the other, and you receive two separate Statements of Attainment.
This course goes deep on asthma and anaphylaxis only — response plus risk management, across four units. HLTAID012 is the full first aid qualification for education and care settings. Many services need both: HLTAID012 as the base, with these courses meeting specific asthma/anaphylaxis requirements.
22702VIC covers VU24021 (Provide first aid management of an asthma emergency) and VU24022 (Manage asthma risks). 22578VIC covers VU23090 (Provide first aid management of anaphylaxis) and VU23091 (Develop risk minimisation and risk management strategies for anaphylaxis).
