BringPhoto ID, your electrical licence if you hold one (for verification), closed-in shoes — EH-rated composite toe boots preferred — and safety glasses.
Physical demandsThe most physically demanding course in our catalogue: 2 minutes each of uninterrupted adult and infant CPR, a decisive rescue-hook pull to break contact, and moving a 50 kg rescue dummy out of the hazard zone — in PPE throughout. Adjustments: admin@nexa.edu.au.
We supplyThe simulated 400V switchboard, full LV rescue kit — rescue hook, Class 0 insulated gloves (rated 1000V, tested within 6 months), fire blanket, insulating mat — plus manikins, AED trainer, first aid kit, SWMS documentation and incident forms.

SequenceCPR competency is assessed first — you must demonstrate it before progressing to the rescue assessment. Both run in the same workshop.

Yes. Low-Voltage Rescue (UETDRMP018) is nationally recognised training delivered by Nexa Training, RTO 46538. You receive a Statement of Attainment valid across Australia.
3 hrs pre-course online + 2 hrs 15 min face-to-face. Delivery: Online + practical · Brisbane (Banyo) or on-site. You must complete the course within 3 months of commencing, and finish the online learning before your practical session.
CPR annual · LVR per employer/ESO. Nexa’s Compliance Hub tracks currency and sends a reminder before it lapses.

No. There are no prerequisite qualifications — the course is scenario-based and open to anyone who may need to perform an electrical rescue. If you hold a licence, bring it for verification.
Included. HLTAID009 is delivered inside this course — you'll leave with Statements of Attainment for both UETDRMP018 and HLTAID009. No need to book CPR separately.
No. CPR competency must be demonstrated on the day before the rescue assessment, and you'll be issued a fresh HLTAID009 — which resets your annual CPR clock anyway.
Yes. UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel is the current unit — UETDRRF004, which you may hold from earlier training, is superseded.
AS/NZS 4836:2023 (Safe working on or near low-voltage electrical installations and equipment) and state electrical safety legislation, with CPR to Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
No. CPR needs annual currency under ARC guidelines, and LV rescue procedures change with standards and equipment — everyone is assessed fresh.
